REFUND POLICY
Registration will be refunded minus a 10% administrative fee if requested by June 10th, 2011. After that date no refunds will be awarded.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
If you want to volunteer during the Conference, you can apply for aditional discount over the registration costs. You have 2 options as a volunteer:
- 5 hours for 8% discount
- 8 hours for 15% discount
This discount is refundable, once you complete the hours the Conference. You can help by giving information, technical support, assistance during workshops or lectures, merchandisng or spanish/english translation for workshops.
Scholarship Guidelines for Conference
10 Scholarships will be awarded to encourage participation at IEATA's 9th conference “Living with Uncertainty: Multiplicity as a Healing Pathway through Expressive Arts”. The conference will take place in Lima Peru, August 10-14, 2011.
5 student and 5 general IEATA members will receive a full scholarship to the 9th IEATA conference (including pre-conference and excluding Cusco experience).
The applicants must write a short essay (500 words) answering the following questions:
1. Why do you want to attend the IEATA conference?
2. How are you using the Expressive Arts in your personal and professional/student life?
3. How will you use what you learn to create healing through expressive arts when you return home?
Application deadline is June 1st, 2011 and selected members will be notified by June 30th, 2011. Applicants cannot be part of the work exchange program.
Selected applicants will also be expected to write about and/or submit an artistic submission of their conference experience for our next newsletter after the conference.
